Music, SFX & narration

Audio is three layers: the narration written by the script agent, music underneath it, and sound effects placed against moments.

VIDEO WALKTHROUGH · 3 min
Scoring a video

Adding a music bed, dropping point effects on the SFX lane, and reviewing the cues the agent proposed.

Recording in production — the written steps below cover the same ground.

Narration

Generated per scene from the script, in the channel’s language and narrator voice. Edit the text in the scene editor and regenerate just that scene’s audio — the rest of the video is untouched.

Sound cues

Point effects
A single hit tied to a moment — a whoosh on a cut, a thud on an emphasis.
Ambience
A bed that runs under a stretch of the video — room tone, weather, crowd.
Music
A track under the whole video or a section of it.

Proposed, active, muted

The sound-design step can propose cues. A proposed cue is a suggestion you have not accepted; activating it puts it in the mix; muting it keeps it in the document but silent — so you can try a pass without deleting anything.

Finding audio

The SFX & Music tab of the media dock searches a stock library for both. Preview in place, then drag onto the Music or SFX lane.
