Approvals & gates

A gate is a stage that will not advance until you say so. Six of the seven stages can be gated, and you choose which per channel.

Approving, rejecting and requesting changes

The approvals inbox, the three actions, and what each does to a run — including how a request-changes note reaches the agent.

Recording in production — the written steps below cover the same ground.

The three actions

Approve
Accept the stage and start the next one. The button names what happens next, e.g. “Approve → write the script”.
Request changes
Send the stage back to its own agent with a note. The run does not restart; only that stage is redone, with your feedback applied.
Reject
Stop the run. Use it when the video is not worth continuing rather than when one detail is wrong.

The approvals inbox

Approvals collects every waiting checkpoint across all your channels into one queue, oldest first, with how long each has been waiting. Selecting an item shows the same stage content the pipeline screen would, with the same three actions — so a morning of reviewing never needs the channel picker.

Choosing your gates

Channel settings → Approval gates has a switch per stage: Brainstorm, Teaser, Script, Direction, Production, Post-Production. Turn one off and the run passes straight through it. A channel with every gate off runs hands-free from prompt to finished video.

Premiere is never a gate. Turning off every other gate is what “fully autonomous” means here.

A suggested progression

01First few videos: every gate on. Learn what each agent decides.
02Once the voice is right: turn off Brainstorm and Teaser, keep Script.
03Once the visuals are right: keep only Production and Post-Production — the two stages where money is spent and the thumbnail is chosen.
04When you trust the channel: turn everything off and check the finished videos instead.
